About Us
At The Med Shed we aim to make you smile and feel good about your purchase. Our emphasis is on quality and value. We work hard to source fresh, funky products on the market that will ultimately make great gifts.
The Med Shed gift shop in The Lake District opened whilst I was pregnant with my twin boys in Spring 2005. We began by importing Mediterranean ceramics and sunny colourful items, hence our name "The Med Shed", since then we have introduced more quirky products. It’s been an exciting 6 years in which the shop has continued to make progress and evolve…..as have my boys who are now 6…..how time flies!
We were delighted to launch our funky website last year. We hope to deliver excellent customer service, and have always enjoyed receiving feedback to make further improvements. So, if you'd like to get in touch about your experience with our site or service, we'd love to hear from you - please visit the contact us page.
We were recently contacted by ITV's 60 minute makeover as Julia Kendell (interior designer and tv presenter) had spotted our pretty beadworx butterfly and our gorgeous white and pink wooden latticed butterfly room decorations on our website. She asked if we could supply a few for an episode where a room in a very kind hearted woman's house was being made over for her foster children. They are so pretty and well worth checking out just press on the link!
Thanks for reading and happy shopping
Jo
