Vegetable ivory orange necklace

This is a beautiful hand carved and naturally dyed pendant necklace. It is made from a South American seed known as Vegetable Ivory which has a close likeness in strength and texture to ivory. This seed is found in the amazon rain forest and is allowed to dry naturally to gain hardness, its then carved and dyed with vegetable dyes to create a stunning finish.

This piece comes in a deep orange colour on an 80cm length of leather. The main ivory seed can be slid up and down to give different styles and lengths to the hang of the pendant.
